One of the better reviewed places in the area and next to Pineapple King Bakery, soon to be my next visit after lunch. Lots of parking out front. Place looked clean as we entered but the floors were sticky. Hosts said to sit anywhere, very nice, except no menus and later to find out no table service. All good . Wifey ordered a garlic noodle appetizer. Largest bowl of noodles ever and the crispy chicken curry plate. I went with the satay beef with rice, egg, and salad. Both were exceptional No wait service so you have to go to the counter and pay Food 5 stars Service: technically no wait service but I left my glasses at the counter and she was very kind to run over and flag me down just to return them. Try this place. Figuring out the menu can be tricky

Chinese-Vietnamese cuisine at fair prices and exceptional quality! Doesn't look like much on the outside but once you step foot into Amazing Basil, you'll be transported into a gram-worthy room. Overhead, you'll be showered with string lights and sprinkled throughout the restaurant, you'll find beautiful floral decor and faux grass walls to give that nature feel. You'll be greeted by the staff, who are quick to accommodate and patient to take your order. While you're deciding on what to order, refresh yourself with the carafe of water available at the table or order a drink to start (they have milk tea). They have a good number of tables for small to large parties. Once you get to your table, you'll be able to peruse the menu which is available online via the QR code at each table. Orders made will be linked to your table so you and your party can order separately or altogether. It'll all be under one tab. The item that particularly sparked interest for us was the Hainan chicken which can be ordered as a full or half chicken. It comes with dipping sauces including the infamous ginger one that pairs with this type of dish. They also have pho, rice noodles, rice plates, and appetizers. The pho was pretty good - the soup was quite clean and tasty. We also enjoyed their chicken wings which came out super hot and crispy. Overall, being located in the "little Taipei" shopping center, Amazing Basil shares a large parking lot with a good number of great restaurants, cafes, and a grocery store. It stands strong on its own as a Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant but the amount and quality of food in addition to the great service for the price you pay is very reasonable for being in Fremont. If you're hankering for something warm to soothe that belly or some hearty Hainan chicken to chomp down on, this is a great option for you to consider!
